Property search
When you look up a property.
You enter an address or parcel number. We use it to find public property and tax facts. If our record does not find a match, the search may check public Wayne County or Detroit parcel maps and an ArcGIS address-matching service.
The result is limited to public property and tax facts used on the Property File. It does not show owner names. A search by itself does not ask for your name, phone number, or email.
Help request
When you ask MHSF to reply.
We collect the details you send so MHSF can read your request, reply, and manage the work. This may include:
- Your name and the phone number or email you choose to give us.
- The property address or parcel number.
- Your goal, your connection to the property, whether someone lives there, and the question or worry you share.
- Your reply choice and, if you choose texts, your text permission.
- How you found MHSF, including a referral code or campaign link when one is present.
We save the request in a private MHSF record. We may connect it to our internal property-work list and create an MHSF follow-up task.
Site use
What helps us improve the site.
The site creates a random browser session code. It can record the page or step used, button clicks, device group, campaign or referral source, country code, and whether a visit looks like a person or a bot. We use this to find broken steps, count real use, and make the site easier.
This event system is designed not to collect your name, phone number, email, or note. It still uses a random session code and basic technical details, so we do not call it anonymous. Your browser also stores the session code and campaign details so the site can keep the visit together.
Our request tools use a network address in a server rate-limit list to slow spam and abuse. The MHSF application does not add that address to your help-request record.
